Art mural

WALT: plan and create an art mural that represents us as New Zealander and members of Oaklands School.

Success criteria:


  • Plan a sketch drawing of a image relating to the topic.
  • Work with others in a sensible manner and by sharing roles.
  • Prime the wooden board for the final product to go on. 
  • Plan the colours of paint to use that fits with the image.
  • Draw the image on a wooden board and paint the image using colours. 






Puppets for Reading task

WALT:  use our creativity to make fairy tale puppet for a puppet show.

Success Criteria:


  • Colourful.
  • Neatly cut out.
  • Puppet is attached to a stick.
  • Knowing who the characters are.
